Tuesday, September 3, 2019 – We are going to be OK with Hurricane Dorian brushing along the coast of Florida, although it could have been really bad for us. The sun is shining right now and I’m sure all of Florida will take a little rain over what might have happened! God is good, all the time! And all the time, God is good! Peace
This stained glass picture in the sanctuary lends itself for silent reflection during our worship services. It’s also a reminder of our late pastor John Tattersall, given in memory to Christ Community Church from his loving family. And we are blessed to welcome the Tattersall family from England on a regular basis for their holiday! Cheers and God bless!
We would love to have you join us in worship each and every Sunday! Pastor John has just begun his sermon series on 2 Peter. Last Sunday, July 7, he got through verses 2 Peter 1:1-2! It is fascinating how much we can learn from just 2 verses:) We hope to see you this coming Sunday!
There’s always something special about the start of the summer, it’s fun being outside in the sunshine (and praise God we have AC to go into when it gets too hot!), happy children (and adults) are out of school, the evenings are longer, food cooked on the grill tastes wonderful, anticipated vacations and get-aways, and the list goes on and on.
Even being in Sunday Worship seems more refreshing this time of year! There’s a genuine happiness when you sit in The House of the Lord and worship Him through music, prayer, meditation, and hearing a sermon.

Each person is lifted up in prayer at the start of Sunday School, and the Wednesday evening Bible Study. Not to mention those who keep the list with them throughout the week, pray specifically for each person on the list!
